Free cards for Rainbow Land! Use the regular board game and its playing pieces. But instead of the cards that come with the game, replace them with /oa/ sound cards to download below.

Make 2 copies of the pages on cardstock so you'll have sufficient numbers of cards to play the game. If the card stack runs out, just re-use the card stack to finish playing. Of course, students must read the word or words on each card before they get to move their player piece. 😉

The words are selected from the top 300 Fry words. Thus, students playing the games are learning phonics spellings along with high frequency words simultaneously.
