Inside the Reading Simplified Academy, teachers discover an evidence-based and comprehensive 3-part model for small group guided reading time (Re-Reading for Fluency, Word Work, and Guided Reading) that is easy to differentiate for a variety of learners. Just 3-4 Word Work activities serve as one critical component of this lesson model to help transform both struggling and beginning students into readers. Using the Reading Simplified Streamlined Pathway (a 1-page scope and sequence), teachers learn an efficient model for reading development that allows for effective collaboration across departments and grades.
